The Centralized Grievance Redressal Call Centre was launched on 11th November,2016 by H.E. Sh. V.P. Singh Badnore, Governor of Punjab & Administrator, U.T. Chandigarh. To take up the public grievances, the Chandigarh Administration setup a Centralized Call Centre at Sector 19-B, Chandigarh in association with the various department of the Chandigarh Administration like Estate Office, Registering & Licensing Authority, Labour Department, Department of Food & Supplies, Social Welfare Department, Department of Disaster Management, Department of Excise & Taxation, Chandigarh, Agricultural & Marketing Board, Chandigarh including Red Cross Society, U.T. Branch, Chandigarh. The services at this Call Centre are available 24x7. The estimated cost for the set up of the project was Rs.20 Lakh and IRCS, Chandigarh incurred Rs.19,65,143/- on repair and renovation of the Call Centre Project at Sector 19, Chandigarh. The recurring expenses per month are being borne by all departments connected with this Call Centre Project on share basis as per ratio on seat basis
