This project was launched under guidance of Chairman, IRCS, Chandigarh in January,2016. The infrastructure for the project has been arranged by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) under Corporate Social Responsibility. Total 4 batches covering 48 students were trained till year 2017. Now Chandigarh Skill Development Mission has recognized the centre for the training purpose under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY State Component). About 500 students will avail benefit of this programme in a year.

This course was started in collaboration with Panjab University, Chandigarh under guidance of Chairman, IRCS in November,2016. The duration of the course is one week with course fee of Rs.3,000/- per candidate. It was also informed that 4 batches covering 39 students were benefited with this voluntary Social worker course till date.

The Cancer and Health Awareness camps were organized during last two years in collaboration with Department of Radiotherapy, PGIMER, Chandigarh at various places/offices in the city i.e. Sector 17 Plaza, DC Office, RLA Office, Police Lines, Church Sector 19, U.T., Secretariat, Education Department, Technical Education PEC, NSS Volunteers and various government in schools in Chandigarh to create awareness about early detection and prevention of disease specially amongst females. It was also informed that around 1500 females were benefited through these cancer and health awareness camps.

Pain and Palliative Care Clinic is functional as a Joint Project of IRCS and Department of Radiotherapy, PGIMER at Room No.4 of Radiotherapy and Oncology OPD, PGI. In addition to this, the setting up of laser therapy units for pain relief under CSR at Chandigarh Hospice and Kalam Express is under process.
